Junior Researcher DataScience for Digital Health (f/m/d) (35-40h)
Your Tasks
- You research in the focus areas of digital biomarkers (eye-tracking, brain electrical activity, skin response, heart rate) and wearable technologies for healthcare and medical training
- You use quantitative analysis and machine learning to build predictive models for use cases in digital health and wellbeing
- You engage in international and interdisciplinary collaborations across Health, Technology, and Social Sciences, specifically an ambitious 4-year Horizon Europe project on extended reality (XR) based resilience training for healthcare professionals
- You support writing scientific publications, presentations, and research project proposals
- You have ambitions to pursue a dissertation/PhD and support teaching
Your offer to us
- Master’s degree in a technically oriented subject area relevant to the research focus
- Skills in one or more of the following areas: sensor-based data acquisition, statistical analysis, data science, machine learning, programming, software and/or hardware prototyping, human-computer interaction
- Interest in digital health and wellbeing, including digital biomarkers, medical extended reality (XR), training and rehabilitation, mental health, cognitive function, or related research areas
- Working knowledge of English for communication with colleagues from the international research community
- A researcher mindset: self-motivated, curious, thorough, critical, and open to continuous learning
