How We Continually Improve Studying and Teaching

We obtain feedback from students, graduates, lecturers, and practice partners at regular intervals. Based on the results, we systematically further develop our study programmes and teaching offers.

Our evaluation takes all central aspects related to studying and teaching into account.

• Students: Course evaluations and surveys regarding studying and teaching at regular intervals
• Graduates: Satisfaction, competencies, and career paths after studying
• Lecturers: Teaching situation and framework conditions at the institution
• Companies & internship providers: Feedback on students’ practical abilities and competencies
• Prospective students & applicants: Expectations and deciding factors in choosing a study programme

How Does the Evaluation Cycle Work?

Our evaluation cycle for studying and teaching follows a clear principle: Gather feedback, interpret it together, and make systematic improvements.

Steps

1. Gather feedback: We survey all relevant target groups at regular intervals.
2. Analyse results: We analyse and merge the data.
3. Exchange & Workshops: We discuss the results with the study programmes, the University Leadership, and the student representatives.
4. Implement measures: We incorporate the findings directly into the further development of studying and teaching

How We Use the Results

To us, evaluation is not an end in itself. We actively use the results to further develop studying and teaching operations at USTP.
