Mobility Programmes – Your Ticket to Your Stay Abroad

Scholarships & Grants for Your Stay Abroad 

An exchange semester or an internship abroad is not as expensive as you might think: You can apply for financial support for many mobility programmes through Erasmus+ or grants for short-term mobilities. 

The right kind of financial support for you depends on your programme and your desired destination.

How ECTS Credits Can Power Your Mobility

Short-Term Mobilities

These short-term mobility programmes can be held both at a partner university or at USTP – University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten:

1. Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP)

International short-term programmes with a virtual and a physical component.
You study together with students from all of Europe – online and on campus at a partner university or at USTP. 
Your physical mobility can be funded through Erasmus+.


2. E³UDRES² International Short-Term Formats

You want to delve into international and interdisciplinary learning environments and get to new people from all over Europe to tackle real-life challenges together? The European University E³UDRES² might be just what you are looking for:

  • Intensive Living Labs: Work in teams on current topics in media and the creative industries and develop solutions to fight fake news, violence, and radicalisation – in many practical scenarios, and with design thinking.
  • Bootcamps: Five days full of creativity, teamwork, and innovation. Learn about design thinking, business models, and present your ideas to a jury – with students from other countries. 
  • Hackathons: Join an international team to develop innovative solutions for real-life challenges of companies and institutions – all in just 36 to 48 hours.

All formats are free of charge. Sometimes, you can get funding for your travel costs or your accommodation. You can usually get 3 ECTS credits for your participation.
