Hybrid AI Architecture & Real-World Cloud Stories
Following three successful events in the last academic year, the USTP AWS Student Builder Group is once again inviting students to an exciting AWS Community Event. Since this year, the student initiative has been led by Digital Healthcare student Chahed Rajoub, with support from Andreas Jakl on behalf of USTP.
The event “Intro to Hybrid AI Architecture & Real-World Cloud Stories” will feature two international experts in cloud computing and artificial intelligence, as well as a practical, hands-on workshop.
Whether you are just starting to explore cloud technologies or would like to learn more about the latest developments in AI and cloud engineering, this event is designed specifically for students and offers an accessible introduction to hybrid AI and cloud operations.

What Can You Expect?
Kick-Off Session: The Fundamentals of Hybrid AI Architecture
What happens when on-premises servers and cloud services are combined intelligently? Linda Mohamed will provide a clear, practical introduction to the fundamentals of hybrid AI architectures. This session is aimed particularly at beginners and covers the most important concepts.
Tech Talk: Insights into the Day-to-Day Work of a Cloud Engineer
What is it really like to work in the cloud industry after graduation? Dmytro Hlotenko will share personal insights into his role as a Senior Cloud Ops Engineer, discussing his day-to-day work and lessons learned from professional practice.
Hands-On Workshop: AI Meets AWS
The event will conclude with an interactive workshop. Participants will explore AWS Student Builder Workshops together and gain their first practical experience with modern cloud and AI technologies.
In the workshop, you will:
- explore AWS Student Builder Workshops step by step
- try out cloud and AI technologies first-hand
- work collaboratively with other students in a relaxed atmosphere
- gain practical experience, with no prior knowledge required

Linda Mohamed has more than ten years of experience in cloud technologies, AI systems and agile methods. She develops scalable AI solutions for companies and is actively involved in the international AWS community. - Dmytro (Dima) Hlotenko | AWS Community Builder, Senior Cloud Ops Engineer @ Sage, Public Speaker, Vienna User Group Leader
Dmytro Hlotenko has extensive experience in cloud strategy, serverless architectures and AI-powered engineering solutions. As the leader of the AWS User Group Vienna, he is also actively involved in Austria’s cloud community.
