Against Violence: 16 Days in Orange
Send a Strong Signal against Gender-Based Violence
USTP – University of Applied Sciences is once more part of the annual campaign against violence directed at girls and women.
Within the framework of the international campaign “16 Days against Violence”, we jointly draw attention to gender-based violence and stand up for respect, equal treatment, and non-violent coexistence:
- from 25 November – the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
- until 10 December – International Human Rights Day
Activities at USTP
Orange Campus
In line with the motto “Orange the World”, we illuminate our campus in bright orange during the campaign days – the international colour symbolising the fight to end violence against women.

White Ribbon Campaign
We call on everyone to take part in the international “White Ribbon” initiative which encourages men and persons identifying as male in particular to actively take a stance against violence and to show civic courage. White ribbons are available on campus for the duration of the campaign.
By getting involved in these activities, USTP wants to show clearly that violence has no place – neither in society nor on campus.
Together we send a signal for respect, equal treatment, and solidarity.
