Master programme Gamified Reality Applications for Real-world Challenges and Experiences (GRACE)

GRACE is designed for individuals who have a Bachelor's Degree in Game Design, Information Technologies, or a related field. It's tailored for those with solid programming skills and a passion for utilising XR and gamification in inventive ways.

Participants will spend each of the first three semesters at a different location within Europe:

  • 1st Semester: St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences (UAS) in Austria.
  • 2nd Semester: Saxion University of Applied Sciences (UAS) in The Netherlands.
  • 3rd Semester: Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (UAS) in Latvia.
  • 4th Semester: one of the three locations depending on the topic of your thesis and your supervisor.

GRACE provides participants with hands-on experience, practical skills, and industry connections essential for future employment. The curriculum is designed to equip students with advanced XR development skills relevant across various industries, ensuring they are prepared for the demands of the job market typical for graduates of this Joint Master:

Applicants to the GRACE programme must hold a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Engineering degree, or an equivalent university diploma. Eligible fields of study include but are not limited to:

  • Game Development
  • Game Design
  • Creative Computing
  • Digital Games
  • Information Technology
  • Multimedia Technology
  • Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation
  • Extended Reality
  • Expanded Reality
  • AR/VR/XR Development & Design
  • XR Design

However, their eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration the relevance of their previous education and experience to the programme's focus areas.
